Designed as a series of oppositions, combined into collage. The chair derives from the famous Red & Blue chair by Reitveld and is influenced by the compositions of El Lessitsky. The color palate and lacquering technique draws from traditional Russian folk craft known as "Hohloma" which uses gold, red and black in its floral motifs applied to wooden utencils.

Birch plywood and spade handles.
